Purpose of the Project
The project is dedicated to researching the psychological mechanisms of adaptation of immigrants. An empiric part of researching this problem relies on the example of Russian-speaking immigrants in Australia and New Zealand.
Goals of the Project
- Researching different types of emigrants and mechanisms of adaptation.
- Creating a .
- Creating technologies of psychological help for the situation of
preparing to immigrate and creating technologies of psychological support in the process of integration into another culture.
Ways of realisation of the project
- Psychological testing of people from three different groups: immigrants, emigrants and representatives of the accepting country. Comparison and analysis of results.
- Researching information from the migrant's web-sites.
- Theoretic generalization of works from other explorers.
